With two major bullet train tunnel projects in full swing, Europe is evolving into a railway heaven on earth!
Both the existing Eurotunnel and the plan for an underwater tunnel through Gibraltar, are making huge steps forward recently. The long-anticipated physical link between Spain and Morocco is finally marking progress by getting the awarded German company Herrenknecht Iberica on board. At the same time, Eurostar/ GetLink and London St. Pancreas Highspeed have signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding), aiming to increase travelers across the Channel from 1800 to 5000 per hour!
